LAS VEGAS, January 1, 2022—  This month, Lexicon Bank, Nevada’s community-focused banking partner, is proud to spotlight The Shaquille O’Neal Foundation as its January Community Spotlight with a cash donation to help kickstart youth initiatives locally and across the nation.

This partnership is part of the Lexicon Bank Community Spotlight program, a monthly initiative that highlights local non-profit organizations that are making a difference in the Southern Nevada community. The Foundation works to instill hope and bring about change in communities, collectively shaping a brighter future for kids. 

“We’re excited to kick off another year supporting our community partners in our Lexicon Bank Community Spotlight Program,” Lexicon Bank President and CEO Stacy Watkins said. “We are proud to service The Shaquille O’Neal Foundation as a non-profit client and give back to its mission.”

Most recently The Foundation was able to award grants to high schools across the country including three local high schools, Bonanza, Desert Pines and Rancho High Schools. 

The Foundation looks to continue its work with other Lexicon Bank clients in the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Communities in Schools, while simultaneously supporting Shaquille’s other charitable endeavors, such as his annual Shaq-a-Claus holiday event, and initiatives alongside his corporate partners.

This October, Lexicon Bank looks to continue their support with The Shaquille O’Neal Foundation at their formal gala at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, complete with dinner, live auction, and star-studded concert. Last year, The Foundation raised $2.7 million dollars at its first inaugural fundraising gala, The Event 2021.
