Las Vegas based - Two-time Emmy and NAACP Award-nominated Broadway In The HOOD (Helping Others Open Doors) has achieved remarkable milestones since its inception in 2010, including widespread recognition, featured spots on numerous television shows, awards shows and has produced over 100 major original productions dealing with subjects ranging from teen pregnancy, interracial dating, childhood obesity, homelessness, sexuality, bullying and slavery as well as major hit Broadway musical such as Jesus Christ Superstar (directed by Tony Award Winner Ben Vereen), Hairspray, The Wiz, Dreamgirls, Driving Miss Daisy, The Color Purple, Annie and many many more on stage at The Pearl Theatre in The Palms Hotel and Casino, The Smith Center for the Performing Arts, the West Las Vegas Library Theatre, UNLV Judy Bailey Theatre as well as in over 50 local schools, detention centers, homeless shelters and community centers, with 98 % of their performances being FREE and open to the public thus making the arts accessible to everyone.

Broadway In The HOOD’s commitment to empowering the underserved community is exemplified by their FREE mentoring, training, and education classes, and the casting of over 12,000+ inner-city youth in various productions from Las Vegas to Broadway. Broadway In The HOOD’s exceptional contributions in over 10 schools throughout the Las Vegas Valley, on stage, and in the homes of youth and young adults in the Las Vegas community are truly a testament to their commitment to ensuring that the arts are accessible to all! In 2024, Broadway In The Hood embarked on a groundbreaking initiative to establish "The Legacy Theatre of Excellence," the first African American-owned and operated Theatre/Education complex in the history of the state of Nevada, and is actively raising the $22 million needed to make this dream of a “True Grassroots Theatre/Education Complex” a reality for everyone to embrace and enjoy!

In addition, the organization offers free theatrical classes year-round to students and families throughout the Las Vegas Valley. 

  • Free Daily Training Classes (acting, singing, dancing, costume design, technical theatre, and production management) 

  • Free Musical Theatre Summer Camp (free 10-week Camp accommodating over 100 youth in the underserved community)

  • HOOD University Camp (Intensive Theatre Training Camp that serves over 50 youth who study throughout the summer under the guidance of UNLV theatre professionals and students)

  • Broadway In The HOOD in Schools (free training for teachers, students, and administrators in arts education and theatrical production assistance)

Join Clint Holmes, Travis Clore, Earl Turner, Skye Dee Miles, Genevieve Dew, Michelle Marshall, and Four-Time Grammy Award Winner Bubba Knight, along with the cast of Broadway In The HOOD, and over 200 local youth and entertainers as they highlight the importance of the arts and ensure accessibility for all! "From Broadway With Love" will serve as the inaugural fundraiser for The Legacy Theatre of Excellence in Las Vegas, the first African American-owned and operated Theatre/Education Complex in Nevada's history.

General Admission Tickets

General Admission tickets and seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. The show will feature an all-star cast of some of Broadway and Las Vegas’ top entertainers. Tickets will go on sale May 8, 2024 at 10:00 AM.
