The Nature Conservancy

The Nature Conservancy is a global environmental nonprofit working to create a world where people and nature can thrive. Founded in the U.S. through grassroots action in 1951, The Nature Conservancy (TNC) has grown to become one of the most effective and wide-reaching environmental organizations in the world. Thanks to more than a million members and the dedicated efforts of our diverse staff and over 400 scientists, we impact conservation in 76 countries and territories.

In honor of Earth Month, Lexicon Bank is proud to feature The Nature Conservancy as its April Community Spotlight. The Bank is proud to advocate for the organization's initiative to conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends.

With the planet facing the interconnected crisis of climate change and biodiversity loss, The Nature Conservancy bands together to fight these existential threats. This is a crisis that cannot go unnoticed and now is the time to make a change for a sustainable, clean, and healthy planet. The organization has a set of goals to reach by 2030, but needs community effort to help to achieve them. The road to change starts with you.

See the 2030 goals

We have years, not decades, to take on the interconnected crises of climate change and biodiversity loss. We’re finding the people and paths to make ambitious change.
