Lexicon Bank Wraps Up 2022 with 12 Months of Giving for Local Non-Profits

The Bank Celebrates its 12th Community Spotlight in 2022 with Shine A Light.

LAS VEGAS, December 1, 2022--- Lexicon Bank, Las Vegas’ community-focused banking partner, celebrates its community impact in 2022 by commemorating its 12 community spotlight recipients. The community and clients are encouraged to consider giving to these local organizations. Each community-spotlighted organization is proudly displayed in the Bank’s lobby at its Tivoli Village branch.

The Lexicon Bank Community Spotlight program is a monthly initiative that highlights local non-profit organizations that are making a difference in the Southern Nevada community.

  • The Shaquille O'Neal Foundation - January 2022

  • Project Marilyn - February 2022

  • The Boy Scouts of America - March 2022

  • Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada - April 2022

“We started the Community Spotlight program with the idea to pay it forward,” said Stacy Watkins, Lexicon Bank President, and CEO. “This initiative has shown us different aspects of our city and has introduced us to incredible people who are working to take  Las Vegas to even greater heights. I firmly believe when our communities are successful, we will also be successful. ”

This December, Lexicon Bank is spotlighting Shine A Light. The Bank has donated to the organization and will be attending the annual Shine a Light gala in December to further advocate and bring awareness to those experiencing homelessness in Las Vegas, especially those seeking shelter in underground tunnels

Shine A Light is a homeless outreach and placement service that helps hundreds of homeless men, women, and children in the greater Las Vegas area. Their Instant Placement with Access to Treatment and Housing (IPATH) program is offered to every client, with the goal of supporting them in their recovery and transition away from homelessness.
