LAS VEGAS, December 13, 2021—  The Las Vegas Review-Journal’s 2021 Best of Las Vegas program has recognized Lexicon Bank as a 2021 Best of Las Vegas winner. Lexicon, Nevada’s community-focused banking partner, was awarded the Bronze Medal in the best of bank’s category. 

This year marks the 40th edition of the Review Journal’s Best of Last Vegas program. Lexicon Bank’s nomination was among the nearly 4,500 other small businesses nominations competing in more than 400 categories. 

Founded in 2019, Lexicon Bank became the first newly chartered bank to launch in Southern Nevada in more than a decade. The bank is led by banking executive Stacy Watkins, who has served as the President and CEO since 2020. In the bank’s second year of service, Lexicon reported total assets totaling $290.34 million as of June 21, an increase of 16.83% YoY. Throughout the pandemic, Lexicon served a critical role in supporting local small businesses and keeping doors open through the Small Business Association’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). 

Lexicon Bank made local and national headlines this year when the bank announced its partnership with Caesars entertainment to serve as the on-site sponsor at the 2021 52nd Annual World Series of Poker bringing the community-led bank to the forefront of a world-renowned event.
