LAS VEGAS, February 12, 2021 — Lexicon Bank, Nevada’s community-focused banking partner, proudly announces the appointments of Mindy Kermes to VP, Senior Relationship Manager and Tom Ewing as Commercial Loan Underwriter. This expansion of the business lending team reflects the Bank’s preparedness to fully support the growing lending initiatives and demand, and meet the expected second wave requests for the Small Business Administration's Payment Protection Program (PPP) loans.

Mindy Kermes 

Mindy Kermes brings more than 25 years of Banking and Sales management experience to Lexicon Bank. As Vice President, Senior Relationship Manager, Ms. Kermes is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong client relationships for the Bank. She joined the client relationship management team in December 2020.

An active leader in the Southern Nevada community, Ms. Kermes is a member of the Commercial Real Estate Development Association and a 2017 Henderson Chamber of Commerce Leadership graduate. She is a former Henderson Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, and past president of Commercial Real Estate Women Las Vegas (CREW LV).

Thomas Ewing

Thomas Ewing is an experienced commercial credit professional with more than ten years experience managing complex commercial credit relationships. Mr. Ewing will work closely with Lexicon Bank Relationship Managers to appropriately structure, underwrite, and book new complex commercial credits. He also joined the Lexicon Bank team in December 2020.

Mr. Ewing holds an Associates in Accounting from the College of Southern Nevada.
