LAS VEGAS, June 08, 2021— Nevada’s community-focused banking partner, is proud to spotlight DISCOVERY Children’s Museum this June. In 2020 during the height of the coronavirus pandemic, Lexicon Bank helped the Museum secure a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan that allowed them to maintain their complete workforce without having to furlough or layoff staff. Lexicon Bank is pleased to spotlight the Museum and continue support through advocacy as well as a cash donation contributing to their mission of igniting a lifelong love of learning to every child in Southern Nevada.
This partnership with DISCOVERY Children’s Museum is a part of the Lexicon Bank Community Spotlight program, a monthly initiative that highlights local non-profit organizations that are making a difference in the Southern Nevada community.

Celebrating 30 years, DISCOVERY Children’s Museum, is the top interactive museum in Southern Nevada, welcoming children and families to explore three complete floors filled with heart-pumping, brain-boosting, curiosity-satisfying fun, adventure and DISCOVERY. The three-story Museum encompassing 26,000 square feet is complete with nine exhibition galleries featuring immersive traveling exhibitions, daily programs, demonstrations and activities and collaborative cultural programming for all occasions. DISCOVERY Children’s Museum offers children the opportunity to explore their curiosities while addressing the core educational areas of science and nature, art and culture and early childhood development.
By educating children with a wide array of programming, including a Juneteenth Celebration this month on the 19th, the DISCOVERY Children’s Museum is able to foster a welcoming, vibrant, and inclusive environment where all are invited to engage in playful and educational experiences.
