Lexicon Bank Restocks Street Teens Summer Supplies for Hottest Month of Year
Lexicon Bank Partners with Street Teens for July Community Spotlight Initiative to Help Garner Local Support for Homeless, Abandoned and At-Risk Kids
LAS VEGAS, July 1, 2022 — This July, Lexicon Bank is proud to partner with Street Teens to raise awareness of the local nonprofit in its monthly Community Spotlight program. Lexicon Bank proudly donated hundreds of heat relief items ranging from sunscreen to chapstick to toiletries and seeks additional support from its clients, partners and community supporters.
Street Teens is dedicated to assisting homeless, abandoned and at-risk youth in the Las Vegas Valley. The organization’s primary goal is to meet the needs of our local youth, ages 12 to 21 years old, by providing essential wraparound services in a compassionate environment. Active collaboration with community partners allows Street Teens to provide high-quality services while empowering our youth to take charge of their futures.
This partnership is part of the Lexicon Bank Community Spotlight program, a monthly initiative that highlights local non-profit organizations that are making a difference in the Southern Nevada community.
Street Teens' July wish list includes toiletries, laundry detergent, sunscreen, teen-size clothes and shoes, and non-perishable food. Items can be dropped off at 5599 S Pecos Road Las Vegas, NV 89120 during business hours or by appointment.
The Street Teens Center is open seven days a week from 2pm to 6pm. Street Teens offers an inclusive place to assist homeless teens and helps meet their basic needs. A new Tech Center is in development to assist in economic self-sufficiency, career development, and family reunification.
