LAS VEGAS, January 3, 2023--- Lexicon Bank is proud to announce The B.E. A S.H.E.R.O. Foundation as its January Community Spotlight in recognition of National Human Trafficking Day on January 11th. 

Lexicon is supporting the organization through advocacy and raising awareness for its initiatives to eradicate sex trafficking in Las Vegas. Members of the Bank will be attending their largest fundraiser, the B.E. A S.H.E.R.O. Awareness Gala, on February 25th at the Palms Resort & Casino and are urging the community to join in supporting this important cause.

Human trafficking is the world’s fastest growing crime each year. Las Vegas currently ranks #1 in the nation for the trafficking of minors.  

Founded in 2015, SHERO partners with like-minded organizations and collective resources to provide financial and physical resources and connections to bring a brighter future for girls in vulnerable situations and victims of abuse and neglect. The organization's ultimate goal is to contribute to a future that is free of sex trafficking, exploitation, and homelessness.

B.E. A S.H.E.R.O. turns survivors into thrivers through community volunteerism and donations supporting their initiatives. Important initiatives kicking off the year include:

• B.E. A S.H.E.R.O. Awareness Gala: The 8th annual event is being held on February 25th at the Palms Resort & Casino. Tickets can be purchased at sherogala2023.givesmart.com
