Grant a Gift Autism Foundation
Grant a Gift Autism Foundation (GGAF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to help children, young adults and their families master autism by providing assessment and treatment funding; combined with support services, vocational training and transition planning.
Lexicon Bank proudly supports the Grant a Gift Autism Foundation. Our team will be participating in their Virtual Race for Hope April 9-16 during Autism Awareness Month collecting donations for the cause.
More than 11% of Nevadan children fall somewhere on the autism spectrum. Unfortunately, these numbers continue to rise drastically each year; since the CDC began tracking autism rates in 2000, the rate has more than doubled from one in 150 to one in 54. Many of the challenges that autistic children face, including a shortage of resources and personalized care in the classroom, have been made only worse by the COVID-19 pandemic.
