April 2024 Community Spotlight
Last year marked the 40th anniversary of the original wish that inspired the founding of the organization in 1980, paving the way for the creation of Make-A-Wish® Southern Nevada in 1996. Since their chapter’s founding, more than 2,500 wishes have been granted for children in Clark, Esmeralda, Lincoln, and Nye counties, and dozens of children from other states have traveled to Las Vegas for their wish come true.
Together with generous donors, supporters, staff, and more than 30,000 volunteers, Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada and 58 other chapters throughout the U.S. have granted more than 340,000 wishes nationwide.

Join Us In Making A Difference
Make-A-Wish Foundation Southern Nevada will be holding their 2024 Walk For Wishes fundraising event on April 27th at Town Square Las Vegas. This year’s walk is presented by Allegiant.
Last year’s Walk for Wishes event raised over $450,000 for children with critical illnesses! Join us this year and help grant the wishes of children right here in Southern Nevada. You can participate as a walker, join/create a team, or donate in support of the event.
