The Ability Center of Southern Nevada is the first and only gym in Nevada specifically designed for and dedicated to individuals with special needs. Providing adaptive fitness classes, the Ability Center offers fitness opportunities that were previously unavailable to the special needs community – such as cheerleading, family yoga, small group circuit training, and weekly nutrition classes.
Offering over 1,000 adaptive fitness classes a year, the Ability Center empowers, enhances, and increases the natural ability of those with physical, mental, and developmental disabilities, so that individuals of all abilities can discover new strength, ability, confidence, and fulfillment, and are able to live their best lives.
Through peer integration, its members commonly develop self-respect and begin to be fully included in society. With its experienced coaches and sensory gym settings, it can provide one-on-one and group athletic forums to help members embrace everyday challenges and social activities.
The Ability Center programs are provided free of charge to all people with special needs. We invite you to help The Ability Center continue its mission by making a contribution on its website. Your tax-deductible donation will go directly towards providing easily accessible health and fitness programs for people with special needs.

Join Us In Making A Difference
A great way to support The Ability Center of Southern Nevada would be by attending and/or sponsoring the 3rd Annual PIZZA FOR A PURPOSE on Friday, March 28th between 11am to 3pm at either of Brooklyn’s Best Pizza & Pasta’s two Las Vegas’ locations (341 W. Charleston Blvd. or 5270 Fort Apache Rd.). It’s a fun, interactive pizza-making party celebrating Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. 50% of all sales are being donated directly to The Ability Center!
