The LGBTQ+ Center of Las Vegas, known as The Center, serves as a welcoming community hub for LGBTQ+ individuals, families, allies, and underserved residents throughout Southern Nevada. Its mission is to celebrate the diversity of the community and empower every person to live authentically, with a vision of creating a future where all people have the opportunity to thrive.
The Center advances this mission through primary and sexual health care, HIV prevention and treatment, gender-affirming care, behavioral health services, youth and senior programs, recovery groups, victim advocacy, crisis assistance, food support, education, and community events. The Center recently expanded its reach by acquiring Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN) and Golden Rainbow, creating a more coordinated system of medical care, housing assistance, and financial support for people affected by HIV/AIDS. It also launched the Gavin J. Goorjian Community Health Center, an integrated health hub offering primary care, chronic disease management, reproductive health services, and an on-site pharmacy. Together, these programs help more Southern Nevadans access compassionate care, essential resources, and meaningful community connections.

Join The LGBTQ+ Center of Las Vegas for Honorarium 2026, an unforgettable evening celebrating unity, pride, and the community leaders helping Southern Nevada move forward. Set against the glamour of the 1920s, this year’s Honorarium will recognize outstanding honorees while showcasing the remarkable growth and impact of The Center’s programs and services.
Guests will enjoy an elegant reception, gourmet dining, specialty cocktails, live entertainment, an exciting auction and an after party. Proceeds from Honorarium directly benefit The Center’s essential work to create a welcoming community where everyone is empowered to live authentically.

Volunteer
Volunteering with The Center is an opportunity to share time, talents, and compassion with the LGBTQ+ community. Volunteers help create a safe, welcoming space where people across Southern Nevada can connect, find support, and feel a true sense of belonging.
