Mad Hatter-Themed Gala Raises Funds to Support Cancer Patients and Families Across Nevada.

Las Vegas (March 5, 2025) – The American Cancer Society (ACS) hosted its 2nd Annual Las Vegas Game Changer Gala on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Keep Memory Alive Event Center. Presented by Findlay Automotive Group, the “Hatters Mad Enough to Fight Cancer” themed gala brought together business and community leaders for an enchanting evening of live entertainment, fine dining, and fundraising.

The event honored 12 distinguished individuals as 2025 ACS Las Vegas Game Changer Honorees, including Stacy Watkins, President and CEO of Lexicon Bank, for her steadfast dedication to supporting people with cancer and their families. A passionate advocate for community well-being, Watkins joined the American Cancer Society’s impactful initiative last October, painting the Las Vegas Motor Speedway start-finish line pink—an inspiring tribute to breast cancer survivors and a powerful reminder of the lifesaving importance of early detection.

Since 2020, Watkins has led Lexicon Bank with a vision centered on growth, innovation, and a deep-rooted commitment to community prosperity and enrichment. She launched Lexicon Bank’s Community Spotlight program, which amplifies the impact of nonprofit organizations by providing visibility, resources, and strategic support, strengthening their ability to serve the community. To date, the program has spotlighted 54 nonprofits across the Las Vegas Valley, further demonstrating the bank’s dedication to uplifting local organizations and driving meaningful change. With more than 30 years of experience in banking—23 of which have been at the leadership level—her influence extends far beyond financial services, making a lasting impact on Nevada’s business and philanthropic landscape.

“I am humbled to be recognized alongside 11 other extraordinary game-changing leaders in our community and I am proud to stand with ACS to ensure that all Nevadans have access to early detection, treatment, and support,” said Watkins.
Funds raised from the event will support local ACS breakthrough cancer research, patient support services—including free transportation and lodging for those undergoing treatment—and advocacy efforts. The mission paddle raise specifically addressed cancer screening disparities in Nevada.
