Lexicon Bank Welcomes Michael Edwards as SBA Business Development Officer

LAS VEGAS (December 17, 2024) – Lexicon Bank is proud to announce the addition of Michael Edwards to its team as the new SBA Business Development Officer. Edwards brings more than 25 years of experience in banking, lending and commercial real estate, including extensive expertise in SBA financing and commercial underwriting. His background includes working with business owners to help them achieve their financial and operational goals.

Edwards’s deep understanding of A/R financing, insurance, risk management and business entrepreneurship makes him an invaluable resource for Lexicon Bank’s small business clients. He is also an active member of the community, where he serves as an Advisory Board Member and Treasurer for the African Development Center of Nevada, a non-profit organization focused on making community advantage loans to small businesses in the Las Vegas Valley. He is also a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. He participates in many of their community outreach efforts. Edwards is a graduate of Leadership North Las Vegas, a motivational speaker and runs Tiger Sports, a youth athletic program focused on the importance of being brilliant at the basics of the sports they choose to play.

Outside of his professional life, Edwards enjoys golfing, camping, fishing and spending time with his wife and children.
