Bank partners with local organization in honor of National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month
LAS VEGAS, March 1, 2023 – Lexicon Bank is proud to announce Friendship Circle of Las Vegas as its March Community Spotlight in celebration of National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month.
The Bank is championing their cause for a more inclusive community and is proud to sponsor the upcoming Walk4Friendship 5th annual fundraiser and walk on March 26th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The walk is free and open to the public, supporters can reserve a spot at https://fcvegas.org/.
Friendship Circle is a non-profit organization that nurtures relationships and helps create lifelong friendships in a non-judgmental environment for individuals with disabilities. Their unique program involves pairing teenager and young adult volunteers with members to help children, teens, and young adults with special needs and their families. The child, teenager, or young adult with special needs looks forward to spending time with his or her teenage/young adult friend, as well as the special events they get to attend throughout the year.
Lexicon Bank’s support is part of the Lexicon Bank Community Spotlight program, a monthly initiative that highlights local non-profit organizations that are making a difference in the Southern Nevada community.
