Since 1917, Boys Town has been committed to the vision and legacy of our founder, Father Edward J. Flanagan, who wisely said, “When you help a child today, you write the history of tomorrow.” As long as there are children and families in need, our life-changing work will continue.
Boys Town provides a wide range of research-based services to help every child and family be healthy in body, mind and spirit by delivering the right care at the right time in the right way.
They provide parents with tips, tools and advice through its website.
They have answered more than 10.5 million calls to their crisis and suicide prevention hotline, helping to stop more than 10,000 suicides in progress.
They work with families in their homes, teaching caregivers parenting skills and how to access resources to best provide for their families.
They are in school in almost every state, helping teachers prevent behavioral issues so they can focus more classroom time on teaching.
When boys and girls need a higher level of care, they offer family-style residential homes and medically managed treatment centers.
