Celebrating 30 years, DISCOVERY Children’s Museum, is the top interactive museum in Southern Nevada, welcoming children and families to explore three complete floors filled with heart-pumping, brain-boosting, curiosity-satisfying fun, adventure and DISCOVERY. The three-story Museum encompassing 26,000 square feet is complete with nine exhibition galleries featuring immersive traveling exhibitions, daily programs, demonstrations and activities and collaborative cultural programming for all occasions. DISCOVERY Children’s Museum offers children the opportunity to explore their curiosities while addressing the core educational areas of science and nature, art and culture and early childhood development.

Lexicon is a proud partner and supporter of DISCOVERY Children’s Museum. In 2020, we helped the Museum secure a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan that allowed them to maintain their complete workforce without having to furlough or layoff anyone on their staff. This June, we are pleased to spotlight the Museum and continue support through advocacy as well as a cash donation contributing to their mission of igniting a lifelong love of learning to every child in Southern Nevada.

By educating children with a wide array of programming, including a Juneteenth Celebration this month on the 19th, the DISCOVERY Children’s Museum is able to foster a welcoming, vibrant, and inclusive environment where all are invited to engage in playful and educational experiences.

Hope Means Nevada devotes all of their accessible resources, consistent support, community events, and passion for prioritizing mental wellness to eliminate teen suicide and empower Nevada youth to live hopeful lives. They inspire teenagers to recognize warning signs, express their emotions, and practice self-compassion. They also educate parents, guardians, and loved ones to recognize warning signs, and to build strong foundations of communication and trust with adolescents in their lives.
