Las Vegas’ Newest Chartered Community Bank Appoints Ray Lucero to VP, Relationship Manager and Riley Hammonds, IT Infrastructure Operations Officer, to Its Esteemed Team of Banking Professionals

LAS VEGAS, NOVEMBER 3, 2020 Lexicon Bank, Las Vegas’ first newly chartered community bank in over a decade, proudly announces the appointments of Ray Lucero to VP, Relationship Manager and Riley Hammonds as IT Infrastructure Operations Officer. This team expansion comes during a period of ex plosive growth for Lexicon Bank attributed to the Small Business Administration’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), and Lexicon’s unique position to assist hundreds of small businesses across the Las Ve gas Valley. Lexicon Bank is currently assisting businesses with PPP loan forgiveness and continues to explore other programs to help the unique challenges of clients amid the COVID-19 crisis.

Both Ray and Riley will serve as key contributors to Lexicon’s continued growth with a dedication to strengthening its ongoing private banking services for small business, as well as community endeavors.

Ray Lucero 

Ray Lucero joined Lexicon Bank’s loan department in September 2020. He brings more than 28 years of Banking experience and 18 years of sales experience, with a special focus on customer service and consultative sales. At Lexicon, he is responsible for developing and managing new banking client relationships and building a strong portfolio of clients for the Bank.

Through his work in client relationship management, Ray has shown continuous growth and strength in the banking sector and has held senior level positions across several of Southern Nevada’s most respected financial institutions, including Bank of George where he previously served as SVP/Client Relationship Officer.

Riley Hammonds 

Riley Hammonds brings to Lexicon Bank five years of Banking IT Systems experience with a focus on IT troubleshooting, audits, and project management. As IT Infrastructure Operations Officer, Riley is responsible for ensuring the availability, integrity and security for all IT systems and infrastructure. He will collaborate directly with the executive management team and decision makers across several departments to

identify, develop, and implement effective support processes and solutions for all aspects of the IT operations.

Riley holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from the University of Nevada, Reno. He joined the operations department in September 2020.
