June 2025 Community Spotlight
In 2017, F.A.I.T.H. Behavioral Services and Wellness Center was founded with the intent of servicing the community with mental health services, recovery services, and overall wellness services. In 2019, F.A.I.T.H. Wellness Services was created as a nonprofit division primarily to service persons with transportation and food insecurities. It soon expanded to include all of the vital services it provides today.
F.A.I.T.H. was created by a dynamic mother and daughter, Brenda and Iesha Chaney, with an extensive family history of community service and charity. For every enterprise the family creates, they make sure a community betterment aspect is included. These services have included childcare for lower income families, transportation and food services for seniors and rural communities, wellness and mental health services, and job training programs such as the Expertise Cosmetology New Paths Program that is housed in the Florence McClure Women’s Correctional Center.
