Lexicon Bank celebrated the opening of its new Tivoli Village location inside Junior Achievement’s BizTown with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by board members.
The BizTown storefront is designed to provide students with a hands-on learning experience, allowing them to operate a community bank and understand its functions, such as opening bank accounts and depositing checks.
This initiative enables students to immerse themselves in roles they will play as citizens, workers, and consumers in their community, while also learning basic business practices and responsibilities.
BizTown is located inside the JA Inspiration Center at 4440 E. Tropicana Ave.
It operates from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
